Digital Extremes, the creators behind the free to play MMO cyborg-ninja game, Warframe, announced a new MMORPG titled Soulframe during this year’s Tennocon. The new cinematic trailer for the game, shows off scenes taken almost out of Princess Princess Mononoke, with a forest god pulling the player character out of water, and their appearance and wolf companion.
The upcoming will feature a gameplay system unlike that of Warframe’s, with an emphasis on heavier combat, duels, and a new world focusing on nature and magic.
The game currently doesn’t have a release date.

The game is a Free-to-play MMORPG title, taking place in a mystical new land with medieval-era technology, weaponry. The game mixes Japanese and Nordic mythology, blending the two together to create a brand new world teeming with life.
The game features a slow and heavy melee combat system unlike that of Warfarme, borrowing a little influence from Elden Ring’s camera and slow combat system.
