The Idolmaster MR Project Announced to Expand the Idols' Activities

Bandai Namco Entertainment announced that it will launch the MR -MORE RE@LITY-Project (MR Project), which aims to expand the idol activities outside of the game series’s domain, in line with the strengthening of The Idolmaster series’ multiple developments.

The Idolmaster series has been involved in various live concerts and SideM Job Collaboration just as real-life idols with actual production companies. In the future, Bandai claims that it has plans to strengthen its talent activities in earnest in order to further expand the possibilities of each idol’s activities.

▍The Idolmaster MR Project PV

The Idolmaster series’ 17th-anniversary live broadcast (titled 17th Anniversary P@rty!!!!!”) will air on the official YouTube channel on July 26th at 9:00 p.m. [JST] to commemorate the start of the MR Project. A special PV featuring Haruka Amami, an idol who will serve as a demonstration of future activities will also stream later.

▍Tamashii Nations Join As Ambassadors!

For the first section to strengthen their talent activities, the brand ambassador of the figure brand Tamashii Nations will be Haruka Amami, Takane Shijo, Yuriko Nanao, and Kaori Sakuramori from 765 Millionstars (the idol group in The Idolmaster Million Live! game).

A special program in which idols of 315 Production will perform various projects to promote 315 Production will be coming soon! Details of the program, including the date and time of the broadcast and the idols who will appear, will be announced at a later date.

▍Songs Coming To Subscription Services Soon

Songs from The Idolmaster series will gradually be distributed via popular music streaming services, with the aim of expanding opportunities for people to connect with idols in their daily lives

This is to deliver the appeal of the IP not only to fans but also to those who have not been exposed to the series before. Distribution is scheduled to begin sequentially for each brand. More details will be announced at a later date.
