3goo and Dimps Corporation announced that the beloved cult-classic 2005 fighting game sequel The Rumble Fish 2 will be coming to PlayStation4, PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch, Xbox Series X / S, Xbox One, and PC via Steam this winter, with various improvements including widescreen support, and new modes!

▍About The Rumble Fish 2
Developed for the Atomiswave arcade platform and debuting in 2005 on the PlayStation 2, The Rumble Fish 2 was known and loved by fighting game players with its flashy, technical gameplay governed by five buttons and two super move gauges, and a unique, colorful cast of 16 characters.
The Rumble Fish 2 uses all of the elements from the first game and adds some new ones. The Offense and Defense gauges have been divided into three sections each, allowing for more usage of Offensive and Defensive Arts, as well as techniques tied to each gauge. An addition to the system is the Boost Dive, which puts each character into a powered-up state according to their style.

The new console version will feature 16:9 widescreen support, as well as two new brand-new modes: Practice Mode and the Gallery!
In Practice Mode, you can test your mettle against an AI that you can tweak to test before going to the big leagues worldwide–with rollback netcode support! In the Gallery, you can enjoy a collection of character art, music, behind-the-scenes production materials, and more!
