Idea Factory International announced Hyperdimension Neptunia: Sisters vs Sisters is arriving in early 2023 for the PS4, PS5, and Steam. The announcement also released the opening movie for Neptunia Sisters vs Sisters with English captions for the characters, and the game’s theme song, “Fight For Victory” by Ayane and composed by Masaki Honda.
The fifth main game in the Neptunia franchise takes place as Megadimension Neptunia VII, after the goddesses were out responding to a distress signal from a faraway PC continent, Nepgear, and the other candidates were sent to investigate an abandoned factory. Once there, they found the “Ashen goddess” who kept them in a deep sleep for two years, and when they awake, found themselves in a new world with a new smartphone dominating the market, and Neptune is missing.

Neptune has been missing since her mission to the PC Continent, and in the absence of its Goddess and Candidate, Planeptune was ravaged by a strange new phenomenon, the Trendi Outbreaks.
Suddenly finding herself robbed of home and family, Nepgear falls into a deep depression. This is a story about finding hope in the midst of despair and the rebirth of a Goddess in the wake of destruction.

During battle, players fight enemy monsters in real-time with a party of three. each face button corresponds to an attack command you can issue to the characters, and you can swap control of them at any time during combat. You can unleash combo skills using AP, and tactical skills to restore AP. You can even create your own combo skills by chaining together various attacks in a sequence, making your own devastating attack for whatever situation!
