Koei Tecmo’s GUST has announced Atelier Online: Bureseiru no Renkinjutsushi (アトリエ オンライン ～ブレセイルの錬金術士～) for iOS/Android. The new game will be a free-to-play online RPG with micro-transactions for in-game items.
Atelier Online: Bureseiru no Renkinjutsushi will be based on the Atelier series’ world and game system. Changes will be made to help players explore and enjoy the Atelier universe through their smartphones with ease.
In Atelier Online, players will be able to go on adventures, battle, and synthesize alone or in groups. This is an unprecedented feature in the series which would hopefully give the series a new experience for players.
According to the title of the Japanese PV, the game is scheduled for release this Winter.
