Having sold over eight million copies, Keiichi Sigsawa’s (時雨沢 恵一) light novel series Kino’s Journey: the Beautiful World (キノの旅 -the Beautiful World-) is finally having a sequel TV anime.

The anime is directed Twin Star Exorcists director Tomohisa Taguchi and produced by Kuzu no Honkai studio Lerche. Protagonist Kino and Hermes are portrayed by Aoi Yuki and Soma Saito respectively.
Kino’s Journey tells the story of a young girl Kino travelling around the world with her talking motorbike Hermes, and she stays in each country for only three days. The first TV anime series aired in 2013.
The anime will be available in October this year.
