Journey Below is an auto-run roguelike platformer, that was released for iOS in 2016. The game has just reached the Android market. During its launch period, the game will be available for only 0.99USD.
The game features simple controls that allow players to jump (when tapping the left side of the screen) or perform a dash attack (when tapping the right side of the screen). There are 12 levels in total with an epic boss battle at the very end.
Once players get the hang of the game and complete Normal mode, they can challenge themselves with Hard Mode and Endless Mode.

Journey Below is a fun skill-based casual game which would definitely appeal to rouguelike RPG fans. The game’s simple mechanics and randomized level designs make it easy to pick up and fun to play in general.
The retro graphics combined with typical dungeon crawling enemies makes the game feel very much like a classic dungeon crawler, but the simplified controls make the game a casual enough to play on-the-go.
At the end of every level, the game rewards players with a choice between different upgrades from double jumps and dash attack distance to additional hearts (HP) and potions that recovers player’s HP.
All-in-all, the game a great time-killer and definitely worth try, if you don’t mind paying for a mobile game.
