▍Extra Boss Battles on a New Level of their Own
Test your might with the added new highest difficulty! The Minstrel Song remaster also promises the addition of tougher boss encounters for series veterans to cut their teeth on.
These 10+ bosses have even gotten special treatment as well with the game’s combat designer, Kyoji Koizumi, returning to this remaster to specifically look into the way these hyper-challenging combat encounters should play out. To top it all off, series music composer Kenji Ito delivers by creating a reimagined version of the track “Melody of Evil and Divinity” to set the mood!
▍New Recruitable Members and Events
New to this remaster of Romancing SaGa Minstrel Song, is the addition of 5 characters with independent stories that will continue in a non-linear way just like the original casts. Other than fan favorite Aldora, Schiele, Monika, Marina, and Flammar are added to the roster of heroes that will unite together to defeat the Saruin once again!
Out of the 5 characters to become playable, Aldora exclusively will be getting new events pertaining to her being around for some of the stories beats she could not be present in for the original game, check out the remake for yourself to see what they’ve added to her in Aldora’s new character scenario.
The voice remains unchanged from the original release, but the newer added playable characters have had their voice actors reprise their roles to add new quotes and dialogues for the newer content.
▍Pre-order bonuses on Each Platform
Excluding the Nintendo Switch version which unfortunately gets the short end of the stick receiving nothing, in particular, each other platform that the remake will release on is planned to come with a special preorder bonus for opting in early.
Both PS4 and PS5 versions preorders receive a special theme while the Steam version comes with a wallpaper for your profile page. The iOS and Android versions were mentioned as well, but the stream did not specify what they’re offering for players buying the mobile versions.
