At the Aniplex Online Fest 2022 event, Aniplex announced that Sony Music’s “multi-dimensional” idol project UniteUp! will be getting an anime adaptation produced by Cloverworks in January 2023. The anime will feature four new units and a brand-new story, though specifics were not stated.
In case you weren’t aware, UniteUp! is an idol project that has gained a lot of attention since its official YouTube channel opened in December 2021, with songs by several new generation singers being released. Sony Music originally launched this project in order to feature various artists and “hidden talents”.
