A television anime adaptation for Mashiro’s Loving Yamada at Lv999! romantic comedy has been greenlit! Titled My Love Story with Yamada-kun at Lv 999, the anime series is scheduled to debut in 2023. A teaser visual and PV highlighting the protagonists Akane Kinoshita and Akito Yamada are also revealed.
Inori Minase will voice over Akane and Koki Uchiyama will voice over Akito Yamada. Morio Asaka is directing the anime at Madhouse, Yasuhiro Nakanishi writing the scripts, and Kunihiko Hamada is doing the character designs.
The series centers on Akane is just about to quit the game she used to play with her ex-boyfriend when she meets Yamada in the same RPG. Yamada in real life turns out to be somewhat of a legend. The only problem is – he is ONLY interested in the game. As Akane’s feelings grow, will Yamada’s focus stay on the game?
