The season three of Food Wars!: Shokugeki no Soma (食戟のソーマ) will not be arriving in July this year. It will be coming in October instead.
It has long been a rumour that the said season will be coming in July, but the leaked page of a coming issue of Jump says otherwise. It is unsure which issue it is going to be.
Written by Yuto Tsukuda (附田祐斗) and published on Weekly Shonen Jump , the original manga has already got two seasons of TV anime. In the story, Soma Yukihira is a student at an elite culinary school called Totsuki Academy. He is hoping to be a great chef after going through all the challenges posed by his fellow schoolmates and other chefs, and successfully graduating from this school where only a few can manage to graduate.
According to the cast revealed, the third season is going to be about the battles between the Elite Ten members.
