It hasn’t been a year since it came out, but Cyberagent and EXNOA announced it will be shutting down the mobile ice hockey game, PuraOre! Pride of Orange: Smile Princess on November 30. The rest of the property is still going ongoing with members recently wrapping up its Smile Princess 2nd Live concert.
The game was released on March 15 2022 and will have been online for 8 months when the game shuts down. Fortunately, the developers do plan on distributing an offline version of the title, that lets you view the story in its entirety along with its unreleased final chapter. The offline version will be released on the exact same day as its shutdown.
▍PuraOre! Pride of Orange: Smile Princess Developer Notice
The developers thanked players for being a part of the game but didn’t mention any specific reason behind the game’s shutdown.
The developers have mentioned it will be refunding players for any unused paid diamonds purchased from the game and will be accepting refunds after November 30, 15:00 [JST] until March 1, with more details coming soon.
As previously mentioned the game will be receiving an offline version containing the game’s story. The offline version looks to only be containing the game’s story and not its play content. As such online modes and other game modes will likely be unavailable in the offline version.
