Chibig announced that its upcoming sandbox adventure game Mika and the Witch’s Mountain is getting delayed from its initial release window of 2022, to 2023.
Even though the game is coming out, has a trailer and looks fairly feature complete, the company is planning on starting a Kickstarter Campaign in early 2023 to acquire a few more funds to “polish the last details of Mika and the Witch’s Mountain and meet the expectations of the gaming community.”
The game also has a demo planned for release on February 6 and will be available through its steam page. The game will be launching on PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, Switch, and PC via Steam.

▍Mika and the Witch’s Mountain Gameplay
Mika is a young girl and an aspiring witch. Unfortunately for her she’s been set out into the world without a complete set of powers! It’s up to you to help Mika complete her training by helping out townsfolk, delivering packages, solving puzzles and meeting the various quirky characters of the town to help build her up to be a proper witch!
The game features a large island with several upgrades you can unlock from performing jobs. These upgrades will help make Mika faster, and more adept at flying and other movement abilities, but be careful though because packages can become damaged during transit.
The game is completely combat-free and is mostly focused on its world, exploration and story-telling, so think of it as a sort of cute and even more relaxing version of Death Stranding!
