▍Monster Hunter Rise Sunbreak Ver.13 New Monsters
This update adds some more vicious variants of some of your favourite, or most hated monsters!
Following Chameleos, Kushala Daora and Teostra have both obtained Risen forms, granting them a special new mode which empowers their attacks with fire and new attack patterns to keep you on your toes! Defeat both of these terrifying monsters to farm a new version of their armor sets, absolutely dripping in style with black colors!
Chaos is finally also here, with Chaotic Gore Magala dropping in since its last appearance in Generations Ultimate! This fearsome form of the Gore Magala is stuck in the transition between Gore and Shagaru, causing it to be permanently stuck in immense pain and just waiting to lash out at anything. Be careful of this fan-favourite monster, with a unique theme perfectly expressing its pure rage and beauty!
▍Followers in Much More Quests!
The Follower Quests are receiving an update in a big way, with you being able to take your Followers with you on so many more quests! You can now bring your Followers with you on many more Master Rank Quests, and even Anomaly Investigations, so you can enjoy the hunt with more hunters in Monster Hunter Rise even while offline!
▍Level 200 Anomaly Quests and More Qurious Crafting
Are you having fun getting one-shotted in Anomaly Investigations? Me too, that’s why we’re getting even more with A7 Anomaly Quests!
The update adds more monsters to the Anomaly category, with Scorned Magnamalo, Furious Rajang, Seething Bazelgeuse, Flaming Espinas and more! The cap for anomaly quests has since also been increased to level 200, though a new feature has been added to let you level DOWN the investigations if you want a different kind of reward from those quests instead.
Qurious Crafting also has been updated to add even more Qurious slots and two new augments!
Augment: Stability lets you get a stable augmentation with no negative effects, and is more geared towards defensive upgrades, while Augment Skills+ will reduce your resistances, in exchange for having a higher chance to pick up superior skills!
▍New Layered Weapons and DLC!
And of course we’ll also be getting more vicious event quests and layered weapons! Complete the new batch of Event quests coming to the game to get new layered outfits for your pets and new armor pieces to further customize your character.
We’re also getting a whole new batch of layered weapons as paid DLCs, in the form of the popular line of Monster Hunter Plushies! Check out some of these adorable designs, and every weapon will be getting a unique monster as a layered weapon!
Lastly, we’re getting a new voice pack in Monster Hunter Rise, based on a character called “Kagami”, who is apparently a good friend of Master Utsushi, and his voice actor is actually none other than Arin Hanson, aka Egoraptor!
