Capcom announced that Monster Hunter Rise, a title that was previously only on PC via Steam and on Nintendo Switch, will officially launch for Xbox Series, Xbox One, Windows, PlayStation 5, and PlayStation 4 on January 20, 2023. Alongside this, the Sunbreak expansion will be coming to these new platforms in Spring 2023.
Each of the platforms of Monster Hunter Rise will have different features, but content-wise, they’ll all be the same. It should be noted, however, that aside from the PlayStation version, cross-play and cross-save are not supported, meaning if you purchase one version, you can’t interact with your friends, unless they also have that version installed.
