In the latest Dev Notes, CounterSide devs announced that the game’s Korean and Japanese servers will be merged into the global server as a single app.
After both servers have been merged into one app, players can then pick between playing on the Korean Server or the Global/Japanese server. The Korean server has this distinction as it has more in-game content than either the Japanese and global servers and thus facilitates its own server in the client. Players that are currently in the Japanese server can transfer their account to the Global server and still choose to play the game in Japanese.
No changes will be made to the game on the end of Global players, with the exception of possibly a larger app file size. An event is also being planned when the integration happens, giving out rewards to players integrated into the global server, and players originally in the global server.

Players take on the role of the CEO, a leader of a military company that recruits Counters together to fight against the corrupted objects, Gameplay is conducted through battlefields where you can place down squads and then send them to attack enemies. Once they have encountered an enemy, they will begin automatically fighting them with you being able to command them to use powerful Ultimate skills.
