Team Ninja and Koei Tecmo released a new action-packed trailer for Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty, previewing more of the demon bosses showing up in the game, alongside familiar historical figures.
This time we got to see a vicious monkey demon, a demon boar, a giant alligator, and our main character using a heavy axe which wasn’t shown off much in other trailers. We also got to see Lu Bu in action with a devastating combo attack that will probably instantly kill you if it lands, alongside Liu Bei’s companions Zhang Fei, and the legendary Guan Yu.
Towards the end of the trailer, it shows a revived undead figure with a yellow turban, suggesting it could be a resurrected Zhang Jiao, leader of the Yellow Turban Rebellion.
Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty is set to launch for the Playstation 4, Playstation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam on March 3.

▍About Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty
Wo Long takes place in an alternate reality version of ancient China during the three kingdoms period. The world of the three kingdoms is populated by monsters and demons from Chinese myth. The game also borrows heavily from Luo Guanzhong’s Romance of the Three Kingdoms novel.
The game is a fast-paced action game where you face off against deadly enemies that can easily spell your doom if you’re not careful. Fight, parry, block, and dodge an array of deadly attacks, while unleashing your own flourish of moves based on Chinese martial arts.
You can also cast spells to immobilise and damage your opponent, and when the time is right you can execute a deadly finisher to ensure their death, before moving onto your next foe.
You will want to be extremely cautious during gameplay, as Wo Long also features a “Morale” system. As you defeat enemies your morale will rise, making you stronger and the enemies more afraid of you. However, as you get defeated, enemies will become even more difficult, forcing you to be even more aware of your surroundings as you claw your way back up from defeat.
▍Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty Launch Editions
The game is launching with a couple of early purchase bonuses and pre-order editions if you decide to pre-order the game or snag it as soon as it’s available.
First off are the early purchase onus and digital pre-order armors in the form of the Baihu (White Tiger) and Zhuque (Vermillion Bird) Armor sets available right at the start of the game.
There is also a Steelbook launch edition granting you the previously announced Crown of Zhurong and Crown of Gonggong bonus DLC items, along with of course a sick steelbook case featuring Lu bu on the cover.
And finally, the digital deluxe edition comes with an art boo, a mini soundtrack, the Qing Long (Azure Dragon) Armor, and a season pass containing three pieces of DLC content. If it’s anything like the DLC for Nioh, this should mean we’ll be getting three campaign expansions with new levels, enemies, bosses, and possibly weapons.
