Endless Night (未尽行夜) is a brand new sci-fi action RPG developed by DarkMatter Studio, with Bilibili publishing the title, and the game released its very first trailer today previewing its world, and some snippets of gameplay.
The game currently won’t be released globally but has started its pre-registration process on its official platform on bilibili, where the game is currently highly rated and has over 50,000 pre-registrations as of writing.
Taking place in the year 2042 after mankind discovered a powerful man-made object. You wake up as the new curator of D.I.C.E, an organization dedicated to combating supernatural entities as a result of mankind’s greatest achievement, on the back of the founder mysteriously disappearing on one faithful night. Endless Night currently has no release date.

▍ Endless Night Worldview
Endless Night takes place in an alternate world in the year 2042. In this era, a polar expedition led by a scientific team found a huge man-made object of unknown origins. With this object, humanity was advanced several years into the future, with new powers unseen and unheard of.
To prepare for this special object, humanity created the Directorate of Investigation and Control, D.I.C.E that harnesses that energy to combat supernatural beings and other anomalies that came as a consequence of the world’s greatest discovery. On a regular night however, the director of DICE mysteriously vanished, leaving the organization nearly in ruins and a large number of its staff leaving.
You wake up within D.I.C.E, with no memory, tasked as the new curator to find answers behind this mystery, and combat any threats to mankind.
The game combines the urban setting of the modern world and sci-fi technology and weaponry. The game is rendered mostly in 3D with environments, characters and special effects for various attacks, making it an incredibly flashy action game akin to Punishing Gray Raven.
▍ Endless Night Gameplay
On the gameplay side, Endless Night looks like it will play like 3D action game with a fully controllable character running around stages, dealing damage with basic attacks, abilities, and a dodge button. It seems you can control up to three characters, swapping them out between battles.
Similar to other action titles, it seems you can also quick-swap to other characters to unleash their ultimate attacks when it’s available, and some characters have even more buttons and functions depending on their abilities.
