Playism has launched a major update on the action FPS game Bright Memory: Infinite, which is currently available on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch, and PC via Steam and GOG. The update introduces a Perspective-Assist mode, which allows players to see more of Shelia from a third-person perspective.
Normally, the game is played from a first-person perspective, but when the perspective assist function is turned on, the main character Shelia is displayed on the screen while moving or shooting, allowing the player to view her dressed up in the various skins available.
All skins are compatible with the viewpoint assist function, so players can enjoy the breathtaking gameplay of the game with Shelia in a variety of costumes.
The first-person perspective will be switched back to the main character’s viewpoint during certain scenes, such as when using skills, using the Light Blade, defending, and grappling. Toon rendering model was also added for Shelia, press the home key in-game to switch models, and display the new rendering feature.

In addition, two new costumes, the futuristic-looking “Cyber Rabbit”, and the school uniform-style “School Rabbit,” are available for the PC version now. Both costumes are sold as paid DLC for USD $0.99 each.
The Lunar New Year sale on Steam will last until January 31, during this period, this title will have a 25% discount and various other indie titles distributed by Playism will also be sold at sale prices.

Originally created and released as Bright Memory: Episode 1 by single developer FYQD Personal Studio in his spare time, the game was remade and expanded in both gameplay and story into the full-length title Bright Memory: Infinite, released on Windows and Xbox Series X|S in 2021.
