CyberConnect2 announced that the sequel RPG Fuga: Melodies of Steel 2 will release on May 11 for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC via Steam and Epic Games Store. It will also be available via Xbox Game Pass for Console and PC. A trailer was also revealed alongside the announcement.
This title is the latest entry in the series following the captivating tale Fuga: Melodies of Steel released in July 2021. This dramatic turn-based RPG follows a group of young beasts who are fighting against their harsh destiny. This time, the children, who have regained their peaceful lives, are once again caught up in the maelstrom of war with their new friend Vanilla.
The tactical, adventure, and dramatic aspects of Fuga: Melodies of Steel 2 have evolved from the previous title, and new systems have been added.

That despair was only a passing phase.
The children who once saved the world aboard the giant tank Taranis had returned to their peaceful lives. Until one day… Taranis, carrying half of the children, suddenly and mysteriously goes out of control leaving atrocity and strife in its wake.
In order to save their friends who have been captured by Taranis, the children, together with their new friend Vanilla, ride Tarascus, their former nemesis, and follow in its wake. The tragedy that awaits them turns the boy into an avenger.

A second form of the Soul Cannon, the “Managarm,” utilizes the life force of the children to annihilate foes.
Judgment System
The newly-introduced Judgment system ensures that each choice made affects the trajectory of the story.
Airship System
Players can now progress along battle routes in new ways using the airship system.

Malt’s younger sister. Mei can’t wait to grow up and help everyone just like Hanna, who she views as a sister. She cherishes the hat Malt gave to her.

“I want to be a doctor someday so I can help people…”
Age: 13/Felineko
Malt’s childhood friend. She helps around the house while studying to become a doctor with the aim of saving as many lives as possible. She’s always willing to make sacrifices for the good of others.

Following the arduous battle of the previous year, Kyle has since learned the importance of being part of the team-he’s much more open than he used to be. He still sees Malt as his rival.

Socks uses the engineering knowledge he’s gained through studying the Taranis to hone his unique craft as an inventor. His current interests lie in Berman’s airship technology.

The President’s youngest daughter. Due to her upbringing, she is well-educated, well-behaved, and always speaks in a polite manner. She can be a bit impetuous and hard-headed at times, which she considers a personal failing.
