During a sneak peek live stream, Square Enix announced that Theatrhythm Final Bar Line, which is set to release on February 16, 2023, now has a free demo available on both the Nintendo Switch and PlayStation 4 stores! The demo version features 30 songs and 30 characters to choose from, and your progress can be transferred to the full version!
The demo will have a total of 30 songs, and they’re each divided into three types: Battle Music Stage (BMS), where you defeat waves of enemies in time to up-tempo battles, Field Music Stage (FMS), which is composed of mostly field music, and Event Music Stage (EMS), where you play with a background containing epic scenes of each Final Fantasy title.
Naturally, features such as training mode and even the live info will all be available in the demo version! Here is a full list of all the songs you can play in the demo:
▍ About Theatrhythm Final Bar Line
Theatrhythm: Final Bar Line is the biggest rhythm action game in the series, with a massive 385 Final Fantasy tracks. Players can also clear a series of “Series Quests” to obtain characters associated with various works, and enemy characters can also be obtained by clearing the last stage of each series!
There will also be multiple downloadable content packs featuring music from other Square Enix series, like NieR, Octopath Traveler, LIVE A LIVE, Mana, SaGa, and more. The game will be released on Nintendo Switch and PS4.
