Koei Tecmo’s Atelier Ryza 3: Alchemist of the End and the Secret Key is just a little over a month away, and to get everyone excited Koei Tecmo released the game’s opening movie, along with new key art featuring Ryza!
The opening movie features all of the party members you’ll be meeting on Ryza’s final journey and a preview of their abilities. Koei Tecmo also revealed some more information on how you can interact with the world, through World Quests, creating Bonfires in the world, and the new Atelier creation system that lets you build your own atelier in every region to use as a base during your adventures!
Atelier Ryza 3 launches on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, and PC via Steam on March 24.

■ World Quests
During the course of Ryza’s adventure you can expect to pick up randomly generated quests, while also encountering World Quests. These will be specific to the many regions you visit, and upon completion can even result in changes to the world in minor, but meaningful ways!
■ Bonfires
New to Atelier Ryza 3 is te bonfire system! As you explore the world you can find spots such as fields and plains where the party can set up a bonfire. Here Ryza can make delicious food for herself and friends, giving yo new buffs and bonuses, while also letting you rest to change the time from day to night.
You can pick up new recipes from completing quests and other activities out in the world, and these make for the perfect way to help boost item acquisition, or give you an edge against a tough boss!
■ Ateliers
To cap off Atelier Ryza 3’s large world and mechanics, you can now setup new full-blown Ateliers in every region of the game! These ateliers can be used as a new base of operation for your party and you can choose from three building styles. Each building style has a unique effect it can give to the player, such as the research base which helps you with exploration, the farm which helps with gathering resources, and the laboratory for synthesis.
Fans of Ryza will also get to meet their favorite friend Puni, who will show up in every atelier after it’s been built. You can even change the appearance of Puni slightly by feeding it different food, which will grow on top of its head!
