The live-action stage play based on Osamu Nishi’s shonen manga, Welcome to Demon School! Iruma-kun will run from May 19 in Japan. The key visual, full cast, and their visuals have also been revealed.
The stage will be performed at Theater G-Rosso in Tokyo Dome City Hall from May 19 to 28. Yuu Miyazaki plays the role of the protagonist Iruma Suzuki, while Yuuho Matsui plays the role of Alice Asmodeus and Momoyo Koyama plays the role of Clara Valac.
Welcome to Demon School! Iruma-kun is originally a manga series written and illustrated by Osamu Nishi. It has been serialized in Shukan Shōnen Champion magazine since March 2, 2017. An anime television series adaptation produced by Bandai Namco Pictures, aired between October 2019 and March 2020, and a second season aired from April to September 2021. A third season premiered in October 2022. As of September 2020, the manga had over 5 million copies in circulation.
The story follows Iruma Suzuki, a talented young boy who worked multiple jobs while defying death due to his parent’s rampant spending and refusal to pay off their own debts. Iruma is then sold to a demon by his parents and is then adopted by the demon called Sullivan, enrolled into Babyls School for Demons, where it turns out Sullivan is the headmaster!
