▍Advance Wars 1+2: Re-Boot Camp Gameplay
In Advance Wars, players take the role of a Commanding Officer (CO) in an army, and each level consists of a new map and an opposing CO to defeat. Victory is achieved when all the opponent’s units have been destroyed, their HQ is captured, or another victory condition has been met. COs take turns recruiting and commanding units on grid-based maps.
Each unit in Advance Wars can do something different, allowing for different strategies. For example, Andy can repair units while Sami can boost the abilities of troops. Players must also be wary of the game-changing terrain and weather, and strategically coordinate the various weapon types, such as infantry, tanks, artillery, bombers, etc. to win.
You can also train your strategy chops in Versus Mode. Up to four players can test their wits on dozens of maps. Each player can choose one of the many Commanding Officers from either campaign and strategically use their unique abilities to turn the tide.
