Nintendo has revealed a new The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom trailer during the Nintendo Direct held on February 8, the long-awaited sequel to Breath of the Wild, which is finally coming to Nintendo Switch globally on May 12 and is available now for pre-order.
The new trailer, which still does not answer many of the questions revolving around the new installment, reveals a bit of the background of the story as Ganondorf’s voice proclaimed ruin upon Hyrule and Link, the current situation of the apparently ruined Kingdom, new enemies, new weapons, new zones, new scenery on platforms suspended in the sky, and the redesigns of Link and Zelda, both core characters in this sequel.
▍The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom Collectors Edition
In addition to the standard version, a collector’s edition, and a new Amiibo figure were also announced during the broadcast, both of which will be available on the day the game launches on May 12. The Collectors Edition will include the following content;

Being the direct sequel to the critically acclaimed The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, the new installment was announced during E3 2019. Link and Zelda embark on a new journey together going through the ruins of Hyrule, only for them to have accidentally awoken an ancient and mysterious evil.
