Motion Twin released a new trailer for The Return to Castlevania DLC for Dead Cells featuring more gameplay, a preview of its new bosses, and a release date of March 6.
The Return to Castlevania DLC adds as the title suggests content based on the Castlevania series including its enemies, weapons, NPCs, and bosses including Death and Dracula. The DLC promises to be the biggest one released yet, with the developers mentioning that the game will have a new storyline and you’ll meet even more characters apart from Richter, Dracula, and Alucard.
The DLC is priced at USD$9.99 and will be available on every platform the game is on including PC, Playstation, Xbox, and Nintendo Switch. If you don’t own Dead Cells you can also grab the base game and the DLC in a bundle for USD$22.99, or with all previous DLC for USD$31.99

■ New NPCs
Featured in the DLC’s trailer and in its key art, are Richter and Belmont who were featured in Rondo of Blood and Symphony of the Night! These two NPCs show p in the Castlevania DLC offering their assistance and giving you objectives to complete while you roam around Dracula’s iconic castle. In Dead Cells fashion you will have to find these two deep in the castle depth.
■ New Weapons
A couple of new weapons are also coming to the game based on the Castlevania series, including Alucard’s Sword and Shield which can both parry and give you Alucard’s fast teleport as seen in the animated series, the Flying Cross, the Axe, Morning Star, Richter’s Whip, and Holy Water! The game has 14 unique new weapons so look forward to finding everything!
■ New Bosses
The DLC also adds two new deadly bosses stylized in Dead Cells’ art, that being Death and Dracula himself. These two legendary bosses from the series show up with their signature attacks and gimmicks from the game, and who knows, some may even have multiple phases.
