Based on the romantic comedy manga written and illustrated by Mashiro, the television anime Loving Yamada at Lv999 has unveiled its first trailer, additional cast, and staff. The anime is scheduled to premiere in April 2023.
Natsuki Hanae will play Eita Sasaki, a player of the online game “Forest Of Savior” who belongs to the same guild as the main characters, and Ai Kakuma will play Runa Sasaki, Eita’s younger sister, who also hates Akito.
In addition, a new Valentine’s Day visual and campaign was also unveiled. The campaign encourages participants to select a catch copy for the visual and tweet the result on Twitter. Details can be found on the special page.
In addition, from February 14 until February 28, the Valentine’s visual will be displayed on the first underground floor of Arpa in Sunshine City, Tokyo, in the Hirokoji area. Visitors can write their feelings for Akito and artworks on heart-shaped sticky notes and place them on the posted visuals to decorate them.
Loving Yamada at Lv999 is originally manga series written and illustrated by Mashiro. It began serialization on Comic Smart’s Ganma! manga website in March 2019. The manga is published digitally in English as Loving Yamada at Lv999 through the digital manga app Mangamo.
The story centers on Akane, a girl that is just about to quit the game she used to play with her ex-boyfriend when she meets Yamada in the same RPG. Yamada in real life turns out to be somewhat of a legend. The only problem is – he is ONLY interested in the game. As Akane’s feelings grow, will Yamada’s focus stay on the game?
