Binary Haze Interactive and Adglobe released a final trailer for the strategy RPG Redemption Reapers ahead of its release.
The final trailer gives us another look at the game’s story, this time the band of mercenaries encounters a youth named Naki who wants to join them while a somber song plays in the background. Even without seeing the rest of the story, the trailer gives us a vibe that it’s going to be telling a fairly personal story despite all of the bloodshed going on.
Redemption Reapers launches for the Playstation 4, Switch, and PC via Steam on February 22.

▍Redemption Reapers Worldview
Redemption Reapers follows a small band of mercenaries called the Ashen Hawk Brigade, who specializes in guerilla warfare and surprise tactics.
In this world, hope is being snuffed out as the overwhelming Mort armies begin to advance, slaughtering the innocent and all those in their way. Once reviled, the Ashen Hawk Brigade are now the last hope of humanity against this monstrous threat. This small band made up of a few mercenaries do everything they can, while also coming across a young boy named Naki who wishes to join them.
The game chronicles the Brigade’s struggles against all odds, while we watch them grow closer and learn about their struggles.
▍Redemption Reapers Gameplay
As a strategy RPG, you will be commanding the Ashen Hawk Brigade across various levels through the streets, valleys, forests, and enemy encampments. Each brigade member has their own attack specialties and ranges that you will need to take into account when battling the enemy who has significantly more numbers than you do.
But you can level the playing field with pure strategy. By positioning your characters in advantageous spots you can take advantage of height differences, and obscured areas and attack an enemy together to deal huge amounts of damage, turning them into non-threats.
You can also upgrade the members with gear as you find loot throughout stages, earn money and unlock combat abilities, turning a ragtag group of mercenaries into champions.
