After a mysterious countdown, original TV anime series Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion (コードギアス 反逆のルルーシュ) reveals a teaser video today (28th July) on its official Twitter, revealing the premiere dates of the three compilation movies announced in the Code Gease’s 10th anniversary event last year.
These movies retelling both the first season and the second season will feature new scenes that have never been shown before. All lines have also been re-recorded by the original voice actors. The first movie titled Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion Episode I Kodo (コードギアス 反逆のルルーシュⅠ 興道) will be available in Japan on 21st October this year. The second movie Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion Episode II Hando (コードギアス 反逆のルルーシュⅠI 叛道) will arrive February 2018 while the last one Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion Episode III Odo (コードギアス 反逆のルルーシュⅠI 皇道) will arrive May 2018.
No news about the anime’s direct sequel, Code Geass: Lelouch of the Resurrection, has been released, but a teaser website is now live. It is said that the supposedly dead protagonist will return in this third season.
