Happy Elements officially released the large-scale update for their Helios Rising Heroes mobile game on February 22. After 48-hour maintenance, the game is updated with new events, heroes, features, and more to celebrate this renewal! The update also brings a new chapter “Sing in the Darkness” to the main story, introducing a new squad of heroes, Anti-Eclipse.
▍ Main Story “Sing in the Darkness” Chapter 1 Available Now
The “Sing in the Darkness” story will span three chapters in total, with its first chapter “Void” available now. Upon starting the Helios Rising Heroes app, players will be immediately greeted with the new story, and in order to go to the HOME screen, you must go through the tutorial once more, and clear Quest-3.
Both Sage Skyfall and Nico have been added to the playable roster of Helios Rising Heroes, and a special gacha featuring their 4★ initials is currently available. Furthermore, by clearing certain missions, you can receive their 3-star cards for free. Jude and Bianchi will be added to the playable roster at a later date, but players can already add them to the HOME screen and hear their voice lines.
▍ Meet the New Heroes in Helios Rising Heroes
Four new heroes from the 12th Class were added to Helios Rising Heroes. They are all part of the Anti-Eclipse Squad, an organization solely tasked with taking down and tracking the evil organization.
■ Sage Skyfall – CV: Yusuke Kobayashi
A newbie Hero that joined Heroes after his admiration. Has a friendly personality, but can be a bit spontaneous sometimes.
■ Nico – CV: Shun Horie
A Hero who is quiet and moves at his own pace. Because he’s a man of few words, it is difficult to tell what he is thinking sometimes.
■ Jude Ares – CV: Ryota Suzuki
A Hero who is outgoing and sociable, but has little interest in things outside of combat. He seems to have an unusual obsession with Bianchi.
■ Bianchi Law – CV: Atsushi Tamaru
A Hero is a self-confident person and is the type of person who follows his own aesthetics. He takes care of Sage and Nico but tends to be cold toward Jude.
▍ New Features to Helios Rising Heroes
Heroes that have reached maximum level can undergo a new feature known as Form Change. By unlocking it on a node in the Hero Road, you can get a special cut, the hero’s signature, and more! It does require a considerable amount of resources to do so, so choose carefully who you want to get the special cut.
▍ Balancing Changes
Several systems and existing mechanics have been adjusted after the renewal of Helios Rising Heroes. Heroes, hero cards, frames, and battle suits can now be customized when organizing battles.
When organizing battles, you can now customize the Hero card, frame, and battle suit of your choice. So for example, you can put Akira Otori in his winter clothes but still use his Summer card, allowing for greater customization. In order to do this, however, you must unlock the relative node in the Hero Road and spend the necessary resources.
In addition, Frame ability activation conditions have been changed. With this update, frames no longer have attribute specifications. As a result, the ability activation conditions for frames have been changed to be based on a specific hero. In addition, all heroes of any frame can be used for abilities by pushing the limit to the maximum.
▍ Quest Order Replacing Coin Order
The previous Coin Order event has been officially replaced by the Quest Order. This is an order that can be played using “Quest Tickets” randomly dropped by clearing certain quests and challenging bosses.
In Quest Order, you can obtain 1 to 3★ hero cards and frames included in the Rare Orders. In addition, you are guaranteed to get a ★3 Hero Card or Frame within 150 pulls.
▍Helios Rising Heroes Renewal Special Packs
Several special packs are currently available in the in-game shop now. The first pack includes 1000 Rubies and a Hero Select Card which allows you to get any copy of a Hero that has been released thus far for JPY$10,000.
In addition, several Commander Support packs are available at varying prices. These will be available until February 27th and include Rubies and 4-star guaranteed tickets. Additionally, they’ll also be available for up to 5 days after you create your Helios: Rising Heroes Account. The prices of the packs are as follows:
Commander Support Pack A – JPY$180: Ruby x100, Order Ticket x 10
Commander Support Pack B – JPY$1200: Ruby x120, 4-Star Select Ticket x1
Commander Support Pack C – JPY$2200: Ruby x220, 4-Star Event Select Ticket x1
Commander Support Pack D – JPY$1200: Ruby x120, 4-Star Frame Ticket x1
The above tickets can be used in a special gacha that guarantees a hero of your choice. It’s worth noting that if that hero has multiple 4-star variations, the 100% guarantee is split equally across all of them. For example, Gray Reverse has three 4-star cards, so each card has a 33% chance of appearing.
▍Helios Rising Heroes Large-Scale Update Free Gacha
To celebrate the renewal of Helios Rising Heroes, a free gacha will be available from February 22 to March 31. In this gacha, at the 50th and 100th pulls, you’ll obtain a special ticket where you can pull on this order with a tripled 4★ rate! Several event cards are included in this gacha as well, so don’t forget to do it every day!
Furthermore, 30 Order Tickets and 400 Rubies were given to all players to celebrate the renewal pre-registration milestones. A 4-Star Hero Guaranteed Ticket II is also available to be grabbed.
