During today’s Playstation State of Play Live Stream, Capcom showcased a new trailer for the upcoming Resident Evil 4 Remake, providing further glimpses of Leon S. Kennedy exploring multiple new environments, a cutting exchange with Jack Krauser, and several other iconic characters! The remake will be launching on March 24 for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam at US$59.99. Pre-orders are currently available.
To satiate your Resident Evil itch before March however, be on the lookout, for a free demo that will be coming soon to give players a taste of Resident Evil 4 Remake! The classic “The Mercenaries” challenge mode will also return as free post-launch DLC. More details about the DLC will be revealed at a later date.
In addition to the Standard Edition, Resident Evil 4 Remake also has a “Deluxe Edition” that is now available for pre-order. The Deluxe Edition includes additional in-game content, including costumes, weapons, a treasure map, and more.
Those who pre-order the Standard Edition will receive in-game rewards, including the “Attaché Case: Gold” and “Special Charm: Handgun Ammo,” while pre-orders of the Deluxe Edition also include the “Attaché Case: Classic” and “Special Charm: Green Herb” items. These customization items offer specific in-game abilities when equipped.

Six years after the events of Resident Evil 2, Leon S. Kennedy is tasked with rescuing Ashley Graham, daughter of the president of the United States, from a village in Europe. Rumor has it the village has been worshipping a cult known as the Los illuminados, and that there are bio-weapons being developed in the area. Specially trained by the US Stratcom, Leon’s new training and skills will prove invaluable as he faces a threat unlike any he’s ever seen.
Across a sprawling castle, dilapidated mines, and more, they encounter even more infected villagers, deranged cultists, and insidious enemies empowered by the Las Plagas parasite. In this new updated release of Resident Evil 4, you can now parry attacks by pressing the prompted button, but now, players will have to manage their inventory by utilizing the attaché case, which has both a 10 x 7 grid and a 5 x 9 grid. Each item takes a certain amount of space, so you must organize your items accordingly.
