▍About Baldur’s Gate
Baldur’s Gate is a long-running RPG series originally set in the Forgotten Realms Dungeons and Dragons campaign. The series has been handled by multiple developers from Black Isle Studios, Beam Dog, Snowblind, Larian, and also BiowWare.
This time Baldur’s Gate 3 is being handled by Larian studios, developers of the Divinity series. At its core the game is a singleplayer, or co-op turn-based RPG. You’ll be able to freely control your characters as they move around a map, with movement and combat actions taking up the same resource, letting you strategically plan multiple commands in 1 turn.
As you gather your party and upgrade them with new abilities and weaponry, you’ll be able to adventure and create your own story by customizing a character, or playing from a set origin story.
