After being announced back at June 2020 in Sony’s Future of Gaming event, Goodbye Volcano High has another release date and is set to be released this year.
The game also released a new trailer, giving us a look at the rhythm gameplay and story premise of the game. When a group of friends just begin to figure out what they want from their lives, news emerges of a meteorite coming to hit the earth in a year. What do they do with that year, and how do they reconcile all of their past grievances as death looms over them?
Goodbye Volcano High is set to be released on June 15 for the PS4, PS5, and PC via Steam.

How would you spend your last year on earth as a student? The game follows an alternate earth where anthropomorphic dinosaurs roam the earth and live their lives out the same way we do, only with the brutal irony of a meteorite coming to end all of them within a years time. The story follows a group of friends from Fang, their best friend Trish, the student council president and more as they go through the best, and worse of their final high school year.
The game is primarily a story-driven title, similar to the Telltale story games with long sequences of dialogue with the occasional choice and minigames to play. As you progress you’ll also unlock flash backs, letting you learn more about the character’s past leading into their final year.
