World Dai Star’s TV anime series released a new trailer and visual showing off the anime, announcing more of the show’s main staff members, and also that the anime is debuting on April 9!
The anime’s trailer previews the series’ premise of a world where Dai Star dancers exploded in popularity, leading to the founding of Dai Star theatrical troupes across the world. Here young 16-year-old Kokona Otori auditions for the Sirius theatrical troupe hoping to become the next member!
The series will also be launching its World Dai Star: Encore! manga series on Kadokawa’s Comic Alive+ web manga service on April 2.
The new staff list includes sub-character designer Yopi, chief animation directors Majiro and Koji Yamagata, Dramatization script and supervisor Ohine Ezaki, action animation supervisor by Ryoko Amisaki, art setting by Risa Iraha, art director Hiroko Tanabe, and color key artist Saki Tada. The composition director of photographs is Sena Nakagawa, and editing is done by Yumika Okazaki, with Satoki Iida as the sound director, and music by Ryo Takahashi, Kenichi Kuroda, and Tatsuya Yano.
