Studios Atomic Monster and Blumhouse announced that it is teaming up with Behaviour Interactive, developers of Dead By Daylight to bring the game to the big screen in theaters!
On the topic of the collaboration, Stephen Mulrooney, executive VP of Behaviour Interactive said “We couldn’t be more thrilled to work with Jason Blum and James Wan, two giants of the horror film industry, to further expand the ‘Dead by Daylight’ universe” before going onto say that Atomic Monster and Blumhouse are the ideal partners for the Dead By Daylight’s debut on theaters.
The film’s production is incredibly early, as the companies are currently looking for a director and screenwriter for the project.

Dead By Daylight is an online asymmetric multiplayer game bringing elements of survival horror to 5 players.
The game takes place in 1v4 sessions, with one killer based on classic horror monstrosities and popular IPs, and four survivors. Each round the killer is tasked with incapacitating the four survivors, while the survivors escape the killer by supplying power to the exit gates to leave. The game has since done multiple collaborations, with IPs such as Attack on Titan, Resident Evil, Silent Hill, Saw, Evil Dead, Stranger things, and many more, and has since been played by over 50 million players.
