Manga and anime series Ajin (亜人) has been made into a live action movie that will premiere next month in Japan. An announcement video is released today (2nd August), saying the movie will be get MX4D and 4DX versions as well.
Rurouni Kenshin’s lead Takeru Satoh is cast as Kei Nagai. Other actors include Tetsuji Tamayama, Yu Shirota, Yudai Chiba, Rina Kawaei, Yuki Yamada, Minami Hamabe, Hiroshi Shinagawa, Kazuko Yoshiyuki and Go Ayano. The movie focuses on the arc where Kei Nagai first finds out that he is one of the immortal species called Ajin and first meets Sato, an Ajin who makes use of his immortality to carry out terrorist attacks. Different from the original manga series by Gamon Sakurai (桜井画門), Kei Nagai is portrayed as a medical intern instead of a high school boy and Sato is much younger.
It is unknown whether the 4D movie will be available worldwide.
