Kakao Games today announced that it will be terminating all live services of Moonlight Sculptor on the global server. The game will have been live for approximately 1 year and 11 months before it shuts down.
The announcement explained that the Moonlight team had “done the best to bring exciting events and meaningful content to the game throughout your journey through The Royal Road,” but unfortunately has to come to this decision.
In an FAQ section of their announcement, Kakao Games explained that In-App purchases have been removed as of the date of announcement (March 6) during maintenance, and items already purchased will stay in their respective account until May 4. Any Gold and/or Butterflies left in the player’s account can be used at the in-game Shop until the end of service as well.
The publisher has also stated that the game will not be offering refunds/compensations, and advises its players to “not make any new purchases even if you find any products in the shop that are still available.”
