Capcom announced that its upcoming sci-fi co-op shooter Exoprimal is coming out on July 17, and will be hosting an open beta for everyone to try the game before it comes out.
Capcom also released a new official release date trailer for the game, once again previewing the game’s time-traveling story along with snippets of gameplay against the various dinos of the game. The game also announced that it will be available as a day one title on the Xbox Game pass, and the game will also be sold as a Digital Deluxe Edition for USD$69.99 with various bonuses like early unlock tickets, skins, and a premium tier for the game’s first “Survival Pass”.
The game’s open beta will allow for cross-platform matchmaking and you’ll be able to try out all 10 exosuits from the game immediately, and if you play the game’s open beta you can pick up a free Aibius Medal as a reward when you then play the full release.
The game also released a new visual for the game, now including all 10 exosuits.

Exoprimal is a third-person shooter in a similar vein to Capcom’s Lost Planet series, featuring you in incredibly powerful armor called Exosuits as you mow down hundreds, if not thousands of Dinosaurs!
The game is played primarily online, and pits you and takes you and your friends into the year 2040 when a sudden outbreak of Dinosaurs has engulfed the world, threatening humanity’s existence. To combat this threat, a super-intelligent ai called Leviathan has been constructed by Aibius, that can predict the location of dinosaur outbreaks, and it’s up to you to stop them before they can wreak havoc on humanity.
▍Exoprimal Deluxe Edition
Exoprimal will be sold as a digital deluxe edition which will include a few goodies, let’s check them out!
The Deluxe edition will include the base game, a start dash kit, and the premium tier of the game’s first survival pass.
The start dash kit includes early access to the Murasame, Nimbus, and Vigilant exosuits, while also granting you skins for these three exosuits. Check out the suits’ base appearance, then their skins below!
If you also pre-order the game you can pick up the Shark’s Mouth (Gray) skin for the Deadeye, the Stone Golem exosuit skin for Roadblock, and Bush Camo skin for the Witch Doctor exosuit.
The Deluxe edition comes with a special premium tier for the Survival Pass, which acts like a season pass for the game. As you play the game, complete levels and challenges, you’ll unlock more levels in the survival pass giving you more exclusive items, badges, weapon skins, emblems, decals, and skins for your exosuits!
