NIS America has launched a free demo for its upcoming tactical detective adventure game Process of Elimination for PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch. The game is scheduled for a western release on April 11 in North America and April 14 in Europe.
The demo trailer, presented by the mysterious and beautiful “Ideal Detective” (CV: Kaya Okuno), provides a glimpse of the various gameplay mechanics and features of the game. It also shows how players can manage their investigation team, interact with other characters, and make choices that affect the outcome of the game.
Process of Elimination follows the story of the Alliance of Detectives, a group of the world’s top investigators, who have come together to stop the notorious serial killer, Quartering Duke, who has murdered over a hundred people, plunging the country into chaos. The detectives have gathered on the mysterious island of Morgue to uncover the identity of the Duke of Carnage and put an end to his gruesome crimes.
The demo of Process of Elimination takes players through the first case of the game and introduces them to the mechanics of the game. It includes 14 detectives who have to work together to stop the Quartering Duke, who they soon realize is among them. Players must use their investigative skills and manage their resources to gather clues and solve the mystery.
The game mechanics of Process of Elimination are a unique combination of tactical-detective management simulation elements, which are showcased in the demo trailer released by NIS America. The trailer shows how players can play Wato Hojo, a young and remarkable detective, and join the Alliance of Detectives to help uncover the truth.
