Oozoo Inc announced it will be shutting down the mobile RPG Exos Heroes on May 11, after “continuous concerns on the direction the game was going”. The game launched on November 21, 2019, and will have been live for 3 and a half years.
The developers of the game posted on a blog post that it was unsure if it could continue to provide reliable services for the game, and decided the game needed to be shut down. It reminisced a little on Zeon, Iris, and Liffy, and will cherish the experience it had on creating the game and its players, and hopes to see the player base again in a future project.
The game will be removed from its App Stores and storefronts on April 6, 11:00 [UTC+9], and will also suspend the sale of in-game items on the same day. When the game shuts down on May 11, it will be closing the Exos Heroes community forums and disabling new posts.
