World Trigger the Stage – The B-Rank Wars Begin stage play based on Daisuke Ashihara’s manga series released a new visual along with more of the cast members taking part in the play.
Actors revealed included Himika Akaneya as Shiori Usami, Shogo Tazuru as Reiji Kizaki, and Yuta Iiyama as Kohei Izumi who are returning from the first stage play. These three are joined by Rinka Ishikawa as Kaho Mikami, Akari Saito as Haruka Ayatsuji, and Anju Inami as Sakurako Taketomi. Actors Keisuke Ueda is returning for his portrayal of Yuma Kuga, alongside Takuya Mizugochi as Osamu Mikumo, and Arisa Sonohara as Chika Amatori.
World Trigger The Stage – The B-Rank Wars will be performed on stage on August 5 and August 6 at Theater1010 in Tokyo, at the Sankei Hall Breeze on August 10 and August 13, and finally at the Tennozu Galaxy Theater from August 18 to August 27.

▍About World Trigger
World Trigger is a manga series created by Daisuke Ashihara, also shortened as WorTri. The series was originally serialized as part of weekly shonen jump, before transitioning to Jump Square on December 4, 2018, where the series is still ongoing. The series received numerous adaptations, including an anime series running for 3 seasons with 99 episodes, and multiple games.
The series is centered in the fictional Mikado City. One day a “gate” to a different world opens out of thin air, and monsters started flooding out of the gates. These monsters were dubbed Neighbors by the populace, and at first, humanity was completely overwhelmed by this dominant threat until a mysterious organization appeared and repelled the neighbors.
The organization, known as Border had been appropriating the Neighbor’s technology to allow humans to channel an energy called Trion, which they can use to grant special powers and super-human traits. This technology was dubbed Triggers and became essential to fighting the Neighbors.
Years have passed and battles with Neighbors have become commonplace as the rest of the world continues as normal. One day a white-haired student named Yuma Kuga appears in a local high school, and despite how he looks he’s completely oblivious to life in the city, and he befriends a C-class border trainee called Osamu Mikumo. The two hit it off quickly, and Mikumo finds out that Kuga is a humanoid Neighbor. Not wanting to let his friend get discovered by Border, the Mikumo continues his training while guiding Yuma through life.
