Written by Puella Magi Madoka Magica’s creator Gen Urobuchi, anime movie Godzilla (GODZILLA -怪獣惑星-) has just made a long trailer public on Youtube. Various characters can be seen in the video, including the antagonist Godzilla.
The story is set in a future 20,000 years later. Human beings have left the earth for a long time due to the existence of monsters, but Haruo and his allies are determined to go back to take over the planet that they once called home.
Mamoru Miyano plays as Haruo, a teenager who seeks revenge after his parents were killed by Godzilla. Metphies voiced by Takahiro Sakurai is an alien. Kana Hanazawa is cast as Yuko Tani , a childhood friend of Haruo. Yuki Kaji voices a young pilot named Adam while Tomokazu Sugita voices Martin, a cheerful bioecologist. Junichi Suwabe is Garg, a senior officer of Harou.
A few extra cast members was announced two days ago. Daisuke Ono is cast as Leland. Kenta Miyake is cast as Belube. Kenyu Horiuchi is Mori. Kazuya Nakai is Doludo while Kazuhiro Yamaji voices Endurphe.
The movie will premiere on 17th November. It will have two more sequels to complete the series.
