Square Enix and Luminous Productions have unveiled the gameplay reveal trailer for the upcoming Forspoken DLC, “In Tanta We Trust,” which is set to release on May 26.
Available for PlayStation 5 and PC via Steam, Epic Games Store, and Microsoft Store, the new content takes players on a journey to explore the past of Athia, together with her new powers, challenges, and allies.
The DLC will be available on May 23 for those who purchased the Forspoken Digital Deluxe Edition, which includes early access to the DLC, and separately for purchase on May 26.
▍Forspoken DLC “In Tanta We Trust” Story
The story of “In Tanta We Trust” picks up what’s after the conclusion of the original game. Frey, the protagonist, has brought peace to Athia, but the effects of the Break persist. As she searches for a way to free the land from corruption, a mysterious voice leads her to the past, where she finds herself in the midst of a war-torn Athia.
Joined by Tanta Cinta and equipped with a new set of magical abilities, Frey embarks on a quest to uncover the truth, save Athia, and perhaps save herself as well.

This DLC introduces an array of new abilities for Frey, such as Skewer, Shock, and Allied Strike. Players will also benefit from Tanta Cinta’s powerful support in battle, which includes shielding and launching her own attacks.
By strategically combining their powers, players can take on hordes of dangerous foes in a fresh and dynamic combat system unique to this DLC.
▍About Forspoken
Previously named Project Athia, Forspoken is a PS5 and PC title created by Luminous Productions. The game follows a young New Yorker named Frey Holland, who was mysteriously transported to the land of Asia, a magical landscape filled with beasts and monsters. Frey finds a mysterious bracelet wrapped around her arm giving her access to control of the elements, and the ability to cast powerful spells and magic.
Frey learns that the land was once populated by beautiful wildlife and humans until a devastating curse called The Break turned animals and men into monsters. Unaffected by the Break, Frey agrees to help the last citizens of Athia take back the world, and uncover the secret behind the Break.
Players will be following Frey to explore the sprawling realms of Athia, a striking land of remarkable vistas and otherworldly creatures brought to life through stunning graphics and cutting-edge technology. Take on twisted monsters in magical combat with a wide range of powerful abilities catering to a variety of playstyles – from fast-paced and exhilarating to strategic and methodical.
