The smartphone 3v3 battling game #Compass is getting adapted into an anime and revealed a new trailer for the TV anime series that’s expected to arrive in 2025.
The anime is titled #Compass 2.0, and the trailer previews an adaptation of an in-game match between Jeanne d’Arc, Ouka Tadaomi, Fukugawa Matoi, Gustav Heydrich, Reiya, and Kitsunegasaki Amairo, all with their original voice actors reprising their roles. Little is known about what kind of story the anime wants to tell, but it seems from the footage so far that this is an adaptation of the game’s events, rather than a new story/sequel, despite what the name implies.
The anime announced it will be adding more details later to its Twitter and Website, though, with a release window of 2025, it looks like the team will be taking a good amount of time to work on the series. The anime’s staff members have yet to be revealed.
