Well-known Seven Knight developer NPIXEL has unveiled a new gameplay trailer for its massively multiplayer online role-playing game Chrono Odyssey, a title that has been mentioned briefly over the past several years but remained in the dark until now. And the South Korean developer makes sure that its MMO fans wouldn’t disappoint with fast-paced actions and super high-quality graphics taking full use of the next-gen consoles.
The trailer marks the project’s gameplay debut, showing the dark fantasy world of Setera and the many monsters that inhabit it. NPIXEL producer Samuel Seo shared further information in a PlayStation.Blog post. Created with Unreal Engine 5, Chrono Odyssey will support “epic battles alongside hundreds of other players.” It seems that Chrono Odyssey has a lore-filled foundation, though we’re still in the dark when it comes to finer details.
One thing certain is that the MMO will provide a range of abilities for players to master across six classes, including Swordsman, Ranger, Sorcerer, Paladin, Berserker, and Assassin. Along with attack and defense skills to help you on your way through Setera, the heroes of this world can manipulate time and space for an extra element of strategy.
While players can explore the open world of Setera on their own, they can also form a small party of four battling the void creatures and even a fire-breathing dragon as shown in the trailer. And of course, you can join the dozens of other players to take on powerful bosses.
Chrono Odyssey will release on PC via Steam, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X | S sometime in the future.
