Otome game maker Rejet is adding a mobile spin-off to its Ken ga Kimi (剣が君) franchise. The new title in development is an RPG called Ken ga Toki (剣が刻), which is jointly developed and run by Rejet and Xiimoon Shanghai Entertainment Co., Ltd..
Despite the participation of another company, staff members from Ken ga Kimi will resume their roles for Ken ga Toki. The return of original author Ichimon Fukamachi and illustrator Yome has already been confirmed.

The heroine discovers a mysterious sword and time travels to the 17th century of Japan, where the five katana are said to have the ability to defeat the evil. Due to the sword she carries, she ends up getting caught up in the conflicts between monsters, oni, and humans.
