Koei Tecmo has updated Fire Emblem Warriors’ official Japanese website with additional information from new playable characters to Battle system and Magic Attacks.
The new information added to the website reveals how players can work together with their comrades in game. First off, the Pair Up system allows players to literally pair up with a comrade and fight together (one as vanguard, one as rear guard). Whilst paired with a comrade, a Dual Attack Gauge will appear, once filled players will be able to trigger a dual attack which breaks enemies’ guard. Simultaneously, a Dual Guard Gage will also appear, once filled players will be able to completely negate incoming damage. Finally, when both the vanguard and rearguard’s musou gauge is full, a special Dual Ougi can be triggered. Depending on the characters paired, the ougi dialogue will change.
Fire Emblem Warriors will also have Magic attacks that are effective against enemies with low magic defense.
Fire Emblem Warriors is due out 28th September for Switch and the new 3DS in Japan, The game is scheduled for release in Fall for North America and Europe.
