The free-to-play online action RPG Blue Protocol will officially arrive on PC on June 14 in Japan. Players can now pre-register for the game on the official website.
The Japanese release will open up the main scenario up to Chapter 3, in which various battle content within this range will be available upon launch. The player character level cap will be set at 50.
Unfortunately, the western release of Blue Protocol was delayed to 2024, though Amazon Games initially scheduled to release the game in the West in the second half of 2023 on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam. Despite the delay, a new closed beta test for PC is scheduled for sometime in 2023. More details on the game’s global release will be announced at a later date.
The latest entry by Bandai Namco is a real-time MMORPG that promises fluid combat straight out of a single-player title with loads of flashy and powerful attacks, huge enemies, and of course co-op gameplay with players around the world.
In Blue Protocol, you can explore a massive world and pick between one of five classes. Each class specializes in certain roles, with the Aegis Fighter, Twin Striker, Blast Archer, Spellcaster, and Heavy Smasher all dishing out their own flavor of pain and roles in combat when in a group.
The game also offers a “nearly limitless” variety of customization options, letting you modify your character’s attire, armor sets, and tons of options for changing your base appearance, and even customizing your various mounts with new outfits and accessories.
▍Blue Protocol Pre-Registration Campaign
In preparation for the start of the official PC version service in Japan, Blue Protocol has opened its pre-registration on its official website. Players who pre-register will receive numerous benefits, including in-game items that can be used once the service begins, and Battle Imagine “B-Feste α”, a reward featured in the follow and retweet campaign.
The pre-registration campaign, which runs from May 23, until the launch day, provides participants with unique in-game benefits. Participants are offered a choice of Select Dye items (Light-Blue, Green, Purple), each bundle containing 5 pieces of the chosen dye. This means that if all five Select Dye items are used, players can acquire a total of 25 pieces of dye to use in-game.
As part of the pre-registration, the Follow & Retweet campaign will offer players the chance to get the Battle Imagine item “B-Feste α”. If the campaign reaches a total of 10,000 retweets, all players will be awarded the recipe and material items for crafting it as part of a login bonus during the Start Dash Campaign, which begins after the official service launch.
