Sony Interactive Entertainment announced that the latest Ratchet and Clank title, Ratchet and Clank: Rift Apart is coming to PC on July 26 via Steam and the Epic Games Store.
The game initially launched for the PlayStation 5 on June 11, 2021, and with this release on PC, it comes with a few new features, including ultra-wide support for 21:9, 32:9, and even 48:9 resolutions, with options to uncap the frame rate and enable ray-traced shadows and exteriors. The game will also support the use of the Dualsense Controller and achievements on whichever launcher you play the game on.
The game is now available for pre-order and will come with early-purchase bonuses including the Carbonox Armor and the Pixelizer.

The Galaxy-hopping duo are back, in their latest adventure, taking them not just across planets, but through dimensions!
Rift Apart follows the adventures of Rachet and Clank as they are being decorated as galactic heroes when one-day Clank fixes the Dimensionator, a device that can allow for them to hop between worlds so Ratchet can finally meet more people of his race, the Lombax. When it is finished however the dastardly Doctor Nefarious is there to ruin the fun and attempts to steal the Dimensionator, in a struggle Ratchet shoots the device, causing dimensional rifts to open everywhere, he gets thrust into a new world.
As soon as Clank gets his bearings, Clank finds himself awake in a new world but his Lombax is looking a little different, as he is joined by an alternate version of Ratchet named Rivet, while Ratchet is in a new world with a different robot partner named Kit, and the four have to team up to take down the alternate versions of their worst enemy, Emperor Nefarious, and Doctor Nefarious!
Ratchet and Clank is a 3D third-person shooter platforming series with players running around levels blasting foes with a huge assortment of weapons, while also upgrading their tools as they progress, unlocking new kinds of firepower and unique gadgets. Rift apart introduces a new mechanic called Rift Tethering, allowing the player to hop between areas quickly and features real-time shifting between worlds as Ratchet can take advantage of the rifts to enter new spaces for traversal.
