During today’s Meta Quest Gaming Showcase, SEGA announced that they will be releasing Samba de Amigo: Party Central for Meta Quest 2 and Quest Pro this fall for USD$29.99. The game also has a Meta Quest 3 version, scheduled to release later this year.
Players who pre-order the Meta Quest version will also receive a special outfit for their avatar, where the maracas and the glasses can be the Meta Quest’s headset and controllers.

Samba de Amigo: Party Central is a new entry in the Samba de Amigo series. As a song plays, the player, guided by on-screen graphics, must shake the maracas at high, middle, or low heights with the beat of the music, or occasionally must strike poses with the maracas held in various positions.
In the rhythm game, players can play over 40 songs from different genres, including EDM, pop, Latin, and more. There are also a few mini-games playable alongside challenges and costumes to unlock. The game also supports up to 8 players online and also 2-player local co-op. It will also launch for Nintendo Switch on August 29.
